Disneyland has reopened, and it only seems natural to have a *celebration* churro for the occasion. This churro can be found at the Sleeping Beauty churro cart in Disneyland. The churro costs $5.75 and guests are offered a marshmallow dipping sauce (optional) for an additional dollar. The churro calls back to our favorite debate in Sleeping Beauty – make it pink or make it blue?

Review
Classic cinnamon-sugar churros are one of my favorite treats, so whenever I try a fun specialty churro I immediately ask this question in my mind – how does it compare to a classic churro? In this case, I prefer a classic churro. We didn’t get the marshmallow dipping sauce, and perhaps that would have kicked this one up a notch. That being said, it was warm, crisp, and definitely had sugar on it (in this case – blue). It is advertised as having a birthday cake-like flavor and I didn’t get that vibe from it while eating. It just tasted like sugar that happened to be blue. A few guests chimed in to tell us that it tasted closer to birthday cake with the dipping sauce. For me, I would buy a classic churro over this specialty churro, but if you’re like us – you just want to celebrate Disneyland being open and this churro definitely helped do that. So back to the age-old question – make it pink or make it blue?
