Disneyland has been a cut above the competition when it comes to allergy-friendly dining at a theme park. Many of the locations have gluten/wheat allergy-friendly options. With the park reopening and many of the locations having limited menus available it won’t be quite as easy to find gluten friendly dining, but we did the work for you and found as much information as we could from the Park menus posted. If a location doesn’t have a dedicated gluten-free/friendly menu you can still ask to speak with a chef and the chef will come to let you know what your options will be at that restaurant.

At “A Touch of Disney” the Chieftain Chicken Skewer was listed on the gluten free-friendly menu, but it is not showing up as a gluten free-friendly item on the menu at Bengal Barbecue. Milk Stand
Before the Park closures we asked Cast Members at the Milk Stand about whether these options were gluten free-friendly and we were told both the Blue Milk and the Green Milk were gluten free-friendly, BUT we suggested that you ask to speak with a chef (or a lead) and see the allergy list for the drinks. Things change, distributors change, and vigilance is required even at Disneyland. It’s best to be safe!
Food Carts
- Popcorn is gluten free-friendly at Disneyland
- Pre-packaged fruits with no additions are gluten free-friendly at Disneyland
- Pickles are gluten free-friendly at Disneyland
- Lays potato chips are gluten free-friendly according to their packaging
- Inside the Candy Kitchen stores (Candy Palace and Pooh Corner) there are a wide variety of gluten free-friendly pre-packaged eats and treats – including in the candy cases (ask to speak with a chef/lead)
It goes without saying that if you have these allergy concerns (or any other allergy) that if you are ever in doubt ask to speak with a chef or lead cast member to get the scoop on what your options are. Disneyland has been a cut above the rest in our opinion and we are hopeful that they’ll continue to provide great food and service to those who have allergy restricted diets.
