From the moment Black Tap Craft Burgers and Shakes opened its doors in Downtown Disney a little less than a year ago, its signature CrazyShake milkshakes have been a hit at the Disneyland Resort.
The Black Tap shakes are “whimsical, over-the-top milkshakes stacked with slices of cake, cookies and retro candies rolled in frosting. Garnering worldwide acclaim, these decadent drink concoctions are one of the most Instagram-worthy desserts ever created.” Until now, some have been left out of the fun — namely vegans, those with dairy allergies, and anyone else who can’t enjoy traditional ice cream and cake. This all changes with the introduction of their first-ever vegan CrazyShake: The Black ’N White CakeShake.
Vegan Black ‘N White CakeShake
It’s a vegan chocolate soy milkshake with house made vanilla frosting and mini-chocolate chips on the rim, and topped off with a huge slice of black and white cake, whipped cream & chocolate drizzle. It’s a sweet play on the iconic New York black and white cookie.
That huge slice of cake was ah-maze-ing. We could tell that the shake wasn’t dairy based, and while we still prefer normal dairy it was close enough to where you might not even notice the difference. Another winner from Black Tap! Love that our vegan and dairy-free friends now have this option!
