UPDATE: New Restrictions Bring Closures to Disneyland Resort

After dropping below the ICU availability threshold set by Governor Newsom, Southern California, where the Disneyland Resort is located, has gone into a new tier of restrictions. See below for guidelines/restrictions:

How Downtown Disney Is Affected

The new restrictions took hold today, December 7th, and will be in place for a minimum of three weeks. All eating and drinking is strictly forbidden during these restrictions. As a result the following food options are closed:

  • Carthay Circle Lounge
  • Smokejumpers Grill
  • Award Wieners
  • Fiddler, Fifer, & Practical Cafe
  • All food carts in Buena Vista Streets
  • Ballast Point
  • Catal
  • Uva Bar
  • Naples Ristorante and Napolini
  • Splitsville
  • Tortilla Jo’s
  • Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Restaurant
  • Asian Street Eats
  • Starbucks
  • La Brea Bakery Cafe & Express

Here is a list of locations still open in Downtown Disney as of 12/7/2020. Please note that any and all food or drinks purchased must be taken off Disneyland Resort property to eat/drink. Here are the open locations available for take-away:

  • Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
  • California Churro
  • Marcelines Confectionery
  • Trolley Treats
  • Jazz Kitchen Express
  • Wetzel’s Pretzels
  • Jamba
  • Salt & Straw
  • Earl of Sandwich
  • Sprinkles
  • Black Tap (shake window)

Further restrictions are that you cannot bring in your own food or drinks from outside into the Disneyland Resort. Also, shopping locations are still open but only at 20% capacity. As of today, Simba parking lot still charges $10 for parking. The new restrictions will be in place until, at minimum, the end of December.
