The news has been coming fast the past few days in the Disneyland News world. Today Disney announced that the all new Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure will open on June 4th. Just a few days before the Disneyland Resort was forced to close its doors to the global pandemic they had announced a July 18th, 2020 opening date. As well all know that didn’t end up coming to pass due to the extended park closure. Below is our article from the original opening announcement. There will most likely be some changes due to the health and safety measures (along with reduced capacity), so keep that in mind as you read. It is exciting to see that there will be great entertainment, rides, and food options for guests when this new land opens in Disney California Adventure park. June 4th just became the 2nd most coveted ticket reservation date – second only to April 30th when Disneyland finally reopens.
5 things to know:

The Disney Parks Blog had this to say about Avengers Campus:
This campus is set up by the Avengers to recruit the next generation of Super Heroes. “In some ways, these new campuses are like the Avengers themselves: a group of diverse individuals who have teamed up for the same purpose,” said Scot Drake, Creative Executive, Marvel Global Portfolio, Walt Disney Imagineering. “This collection of unique addresses—each dedicated to a different discipline—have been brought together to champion the next generation of heroes.”
The first key address at the Avengers Campus will be the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – also known as “WEB” – which will house our new Spider-Man experience, the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature this iconic Super Hero.
During an open house at WEB, the aspiring inventors are excited to invite you for a test drive of their latest invention: the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man! The attraction gives you a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as you help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.
When it is time to take a break from the heroics, several new dining spots at Avengers Campus will offer dishes that are rich in both flavor and storytelling. Pym Test Kitchen is a food innovation science lab where the food and drinks tell a story. Just as Ant-Man and The Wasp use “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink just about anything, Pym Technologies applies this science to the creation of shareable bites, inventive entrees and sweet treats. You will be able to savor such items as the Impossible™ plant-based large and micro meatballs with pasta, or the “Pym-ini,” a panini served by the slice or as a long, multi-portion sandwich.
