Guests can once again join the Resistance in an epic battle against the sinister First Order on this state-of-art ride at Disneyland park when they reopen on April 30th. Today we learned that there will be a new virtual queue system with some similarities and some differences from the way it was implemented in Disneyland prior to the shutdown.
Guests will have two opportunities to join the virtual queue
Beginning April 30th Disneyland will have two separate virtual queue enrollment times – 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. Guests with a valid ticket and theme park reservation for Disneyland Park will be able to access the virtual queue system with the Disneyland app and check for an available boarding group starting at 7 a.m. on the day of their park reservation before leaving their home or hotel room.
To access the virtual queue opportunity beginning at 12 p.m. guests must have a valid ticket and park reservation, and have entered Disneyland Park, or Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket by noon. Guests beginning their day at Disney California Adventure Park may then enter Disneyland Park with their Park Hopper ticket after 1 p.m. for their boarding group as available. All tickets must be linked to their Disney account. Guests who are successful joining a boarding group in the virtual queue will not be eligible to join the virtual queue again at 12 p.m.
What do you think of this change which looks similar to the way they operate at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World? Let us know in the comments!
I think this makes sense and seems like will give an opportunity for this that miss out on the 7am.
What I don’t like and it’s not about rise of res. I don’t like there is no breakfast in the park and very few vegetarian options.
Hopefully breakfast will return to the menus soon!
