When Disney California Adventure park reopened in April there were a few specialty churros available: Fluffernutter, Milk & Cookies, Horchata, and the Strawberry Cheesecake. Recently, the S’mores Churro has returned (we had it a few times prior to the park closure) to replace the Horchata Churro. You can get this churro for $6.25 at the Redwood Creek Churro Cart in DCA.
S’mores Churro (6.25)
This churro comes drizzled with marshmallow sauce, chocolate drizzle, and is then covered in graham cracker crumbs and mini chocolate chips. The churro was perfectly hot, crispy on the exterior, fluffy and light on the interior, and perfectly adorned with the toppings by the cast member. I can’t recall better attention to detail by a cast member assembling/decorating a churro. The churro definitely evokes the flavors of the familiar s’mores dessert, but soars when combined with the distinct texture and flavors of the churro. This one is a winner and worth your patience if the line is long. No word on how long it’ll be available, but we are hoping it will be available all summer.
