Star Wars has been my favorite movie franchise since I was a small boy, so Galaxy’s Edge has fulfilled so many childhood dreams for me. Flash back in time to when Oga’s Cantina was first announced and I instantly knew it was where I wanted to be. My first trip to Oga’s was delayed a little, but the wait was worth it. It was a dream come true to get to experience a real life Star Wars Cantina in person.
The Queue
They updated the queuing method which now means that you enter the queue and give the host your phone number to be called back for your Oga’s experience. We had to wait about 15 minutes after getting into Galaxy’s Edge before we were texted to come back to Oga’s.

Our Verdict?
We loved our time spent in Oga’s Cantina. Nicole loved the Hyperdrive (Punch it!) the best. Our girls loved the Carbon Freeze, and Chad loved the Yub Nub drink. DJ Rex (you might remember him from the Star Tours ride) spins really fun tunes for you to listen to as you enjoy your time in the Cantina. We had heard mixed reviews on the experience inside the Cantina, but we have to be honest – we loved it and can’t wait to go back. It was very disappointing to miss out on it on opening night, but we were very happy when we left this time. It is on the pricey side, so you’ll have to keep that in mind before you go. We won’t be able to afford to go there every time we visit Galaxy’s Edge, but we will definitely go back as our pocket book allows!
