There is a new beignet option at the Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland -Double Chocolate Beignets. They cost $5.49 for 3 or $8.99 for 6. There is no annual passholder discount available at Mint Julep Bar. Also, although Mint Julep Bar has mobile ordering this particular item is not yet available on the mobile ordering menu on the Disneyland app.
The Mint Julep Bar frequently offers specialty beignets in addition to the normal powdered sugar beignets. These double chocolate beignets are the current special offering. I enjoyed them but didn’t think they were life changing (4/5 rating from me). We aren’t sure what makes them *double* chocolate, but they definitely had a distinct chocolate flavor. I found myself wishing I had ordered a cup of coffee to pair with these. Also, no word on how long they’ll be around, so if they sound good get on over to New Orleans Square to try them out.
