Disneyland recently added several donut options to Maurice’s Treats in Disneyland – a small kiosk near the Royal Theatre in Fantasyland. The new donuts are called Churro Gears, Cogsworth Cakes, and Maurice’s Pieces. In addition to the donuts they have house-made sugar options including: powdered sugar, cinnamon, cookie butter, or peanut butter & jelly. We were told by the cast member on duty that if you get Maurice’s Pieces you can mix and match your donut holes in any combination of 6 (they have 4 options which are the same as the sugar flavors listed above). If you choose churro gears the donuts (you get 2 with your order) they automatically come dusted in cinnamon-sugar. Cogsworth Cakes come with the sugar dusting options listed above. We were allowed to choose a different sugar topping for each donut (we chose powdered sugar and cookie butter sugar).

With the new year, hopefully Disneyland keeps pumping out new options for their guests. When the donut cart went away it left a void in the hearts of many. The donuts cost $5.29 – you get 2 donuts or 6 donut holes. You can also find donuts at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe which isn’t far from Maurice’s Treats. Will these new donut options be enticing to you?
