Award Wieners in Disney California Adventure is now serving Asada Fries. If there ever was a food item perfect for California Adventure this is it! This item joins the Apple Pie Funnel Cake Fries as the new items on the Award Wieners menu.
The Asada Fries are filmstrip fries topped with marinated carne asada, cheddar cheese, cilantro, onion, salsa de arbol, and guacamole. Small quibbles would be that there should have been more carne asada (the carne asada tasted great though!), but overall this was a definite thumbs up from us. Also, the salsa gave it a little kick which I enjoyed (if you’re sensitive to spice be aware that there is a light spice to it). Recommend trying if you’re a fan of carne asada fries and/or California burritos. Mobile ordering is available, so make sure you do that to save time!
