It’s a new year and the Disneyland Resort has brought some new eats and treats for their guests. Award Wieners is now serving Apple Pie Funnel Cake Fries. The item features funnel cake fries coated with cinnamon-sugar, topped with apple pie filling, caramel sauce, whipped topping, and streusel. It checks in at $8.99 and if you’re an annual passholder you can get a discount on this treat.
The apple pie filling in this is the lone short-coming on this dessert. Tastes very much like it came out of a can recently. It’s not bad, mind you, but the rest of the dish is a 5 out of 5 while the pie filling is a 3/5. So while we can’t say we loved it we can say it was good and that we’d get it again.
