The Jungle Cruise will be reopening in time for Disneyland’s 66th birthday – July 16th. Disneyland turns 66 years young the following day, so guests will once again be able to enjoy this iconic ride. The Disney Parks Blog said the attraction will reopen “with an updated experience that welcomes new characters from around the world plus even more of the humor, wildlife and skipper heart that makes this classic attraction a favorite.” Below is a behind the scenes video about the Jungle Cruise reopening.
The Final Corner
The final corner on the Jungle Cruise attraction has a new ending scene headed its way. As guests come to the final corner before departing they’ll no longer see Trader Sam, but rather a new Lost & Found Gift Shop featuring lost and found items that Sam has decided to sell.
Ever wonder what happened to that gramophone you accidentally left behind on the boat during your last adventure? How about that beloved pith helmet that went missing?
Word on the stream is that Alberta Falls, proprietor of the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd., has entrusted her longtime friend, Trader Sam, to manage the new Lost & Found location. But, with Trader Sam being Trader Sam, there’s always an opportunity to make some extra money. After all, all the best rides end with a gift shop, right?
Are you excited to one again enjoy this attraction? July 16th is right around the corner.
