The Disney Parks Blog announced that there will be a special live stream of the dedication for Galaxy’s Edge at 8:20 Pacific Standard Time (adjust for your time zone).
You can watch the live stream by going to The Disney Parks Blog at the aforementioned 8:20 p.m. time. We can only speculate as to why they are doing the dedication ceremony 2 days before the official opening, but our best guess is that they want the experience to be pure and authentic right from get go on May 31st.
We will be in the Parks on May 31st, so stay tuned for more information! Our time slot in Galaxy’s Edge is 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., so we will be closing down Galaxy’s Edge on opening night.
Words cannot express how excited I am. Star Wars has always been special to me. When I was a child I would watch A New Hope, Empire, or Jedi when I would stay home *sick* from school. My brothers and I would film ourselves having lightsaber battles. We camped out in line when the prequels were released – first in line actually! In any case, old stories aside, this truly is a combination of my two favorite things – Star Wars & Disneyland! CAN’T WAIT! May the force be with you.
