City of Anaheim Contemplating 2% Tax on Disneyland Admission

According to their latest posted agenda, the Anaheim City Council will soon be discussing whether they should call for a vote on a 2% tax on large attendance entertainment events in the city. Any event hosting over 15,000 would fall into the tax category which would include Disneyland Resort theme park admission. The resolution will be discussed at the next council meeting on Tuesday, July 19th. If approved by the council, the issue will be sent to Anaheim voters in November. The tax will then be in the hands of the voters.
