The Briar Rose Cupcake ($5.99 AP Discount Available)
Recently, Disneyland released a series of merchandise focused on Briar Rose (and the accompanying colors featured). To pair with the merchandise they have also released two dessert options, so that when you are sporting your brand new Briar Rose spirit jersey you can have the perfect dessert to pair with your new merch.
The Briar Rose Cupcake has, along with the Briar Rose Cake Pop, appeared in the Disneyland candy cases. This vanilla cupcake comes loaded with decorative and sweet frosting to take it beyond an ordinary vanilla cupcake. Like many of the specialty cupcakes coming out these days this one is heavy on the frosting. We’ve got to say that it is decorated very well.
The Briar Rose Cake Pop ($4.99 AP Discount Available)
This is a pretty standard vanilla cake pop once you get past the shimmering pink surface. Cake pops are very popular with our children, but for the price point they aren’t our favorite item to purchase. Maybe that’s us being too much like Captain Hook and not enough like Peter Pan? In any case, it does taste good. Even if it’s just a little ‘ole cake pop.

You can find both of these items at the major candy locations in Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. In Disneyland you can get them at Candy Palace on Main Street. In Disney California Adventure you can get them at Trolley Treats on Buena Vista Street. You can also find them at Marceline’s Confectionary in Downtown Disney.
