Food at Avocado Time

Petite Impossible™ Burger ($8.00) – topped with Melted Pepper Jack Cheese, fresh Guacamole and Tomato, on a Toasted mini Brioche Bun

The Petite Impossible Burger
In our opinion this burger was better when it was served with regular beef a few years ago. That’s not to say that it’s bad. The Impossible *beef* patty is just a touch on the thick side which makes the consistency of it not being real meat more noticeable. However, if you’re a vegetarian this would be a great option (the cheese makes it so it’s not vegan friendly). We would give this a 2.5/5 on our rating scale.

Tortilla-crusted Fried Guacamole with Carne Asada ($8.25) – slices of Avocado breaded in Tortilla and fried, served with Carne Asada, topped with Pico de Gallo and Avocado Crema Drizzle

Tortilla-crusted Fried Guacomole with Carne Asada
This dish tastes like a California burrito without the fries. The fried avocado paired with the carne asada was exquisite. We all have different taste buds, but for us this was one of, if not, the best items at the Festival. It’s rare for us to go back and get seconds of a Festival dish, but we did just that with this one. In fact, I can foresee getting this on future trips as well. Highly recommend this for people who like California burritos and carne asada fries. I was wary of the avocado being fried in tortillas and breading, but it was so delicious.
