Asian Street Eats Tasting and Meet & Greet

Asian Street Eats opened this past December, but hosted a Tasting Event and a Meet & Greet with Chef Hung Huynh yesterday to feature their menu offerings. We were there and got to try a few of the items that we hadn’t tried on our previous visit to Asian Street Eats. The new eatery is located at the west end of Downtown Disney en route to the Disneyland Hotel in front of the abandoned Rainforest Cafe building. Their hours vary from day to day (check the Disneyland website calendar for specific hours of the day you are going), but seem to be from 11:00 a.m. until 10-12 p.m.

Tasting

Chicken Pot Stickers – These were good; the soy sauce infused with ginger is GREAT
Vegetable Pot Stickers – These were GREAT (I liked both potstickers, but preferred these); definitely dip these in the ginger soy sauce.
Chicken and Beef Scallion Pancake Wraps (they also have Tofu, though we didn’t try that). The chicken wrap is my personal favorite wrap. The sriracha aioli inside made this pop with flavor. The scallion pancake was great as a wrap. Highly recommend!
Tofu Mixed Bowl (Not pictured; Braised Beef Mixed Bowl and Chicken Mixed Bowl) – We don’t typically eat vegetarian or vegan dishes, so this wasn’t our favorite, BUT we heard from many other who enjoy Tofu who said this was great for them. The Braised Beef Mixed Bowl is our personal favorite – definitely give that a try!
The sauces! Loved the Spicy Avocado, Sriracha Aioli, and the Teriyaki
They also have a variety of fun drink options to try

Thank you to Asian Street Eats for inviting us to this event. We enjoyed all the food we tried. We were hosted on this visit, but we were paying customers for our first visit. Every item on the menu is under $10 which is fantastic pricing. Check out Asian Street Eats next time you are at the Disneyland Resort.
