The ever evolving mask policy at the Disneyland Resort will once again be changed. As of today, guests are required to wear a mask in all indoor locations, regardless of vaccination status. However, that will change on February 17th for vaccinated guests. See below for the update on the Disneyland website.
Face Mask Policy Beginning February 17th
So, a vaccinated guest can choose to wear or not wear a mask indoors beginning on February 17th. Unvaccinated guests will still be required to wear a mask indoors. It seems that this will be on the honor system (based on the previous implementation of this policy in the summer of 2021). As more information becomes available, we will update this post if needed.
This marks the second time since the start of the pandemic that Disneyland has dropped the mask rule for vaccinated visitors. The resort relaxed mask rules last June, only to see them return within a month after the CDC issued new guidance.
