Valentines Treats at the Disneyland Resort

Valentine’s Day will be here this Friday, and the Disneyland Resort has released several special food items to celebrate. There hasn’t been any word on how long the treats will be around, but if we had to guess we’d say that they will be around through this Sunday.

Candy Shop Treats

The candy shops in Disneyland park are Candy Palace and Pooh’s Corner; in Disney California Adventure park they are located at Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s; in Downtown Disney Marcelines Confectionery is the only candy shop for candy hungry guests. We spotted the following treats during our visit yesterday (Monday the 10th).

Chocolate Covered Strawberries ($4.49)

They have chocolate covered strawberries available in white, dark, and milk chocolate coatings. The strawberries are weighed, so some orders have one strawberry while others have two. Either way, you are getting the same weight in strawberries to eat and enjoy.

Crispy Treats ($5.99)

This is a regular crispy treat which is covered in a sugary, peanut butter glaze. The pink that you see in the picture is a small amount of strawberry frosting. Definitely a winner if you enjoy peanut butter flavored treats.

These are regular chocolate covered crispy treats. The pink Minnie seems to be the new one if our memory serves us correctly.

Strawberry Shortcake and Dark Chocolate Caramel Wands

These two wands are temporarily available as Valentines treats. The strawberry shortcake wand is a marshmallow wand on a stick coated in caramel and white chocolate then covered in shortcake crumbs and strawberry flavored bits. Definitely properly named – it’s a lot like those old Good Humor ice cream bars and the kind of strawberry shortcake you get at a county fair. Sticky, sweet, and on point for those who love marshmallow based treats. The dark chocolate caramel wand is similar to the regular milk chocolate wands with caramel with two differences: the wand had less caramel; the outer decorations have pink/red striping rather than white chocolate.

Cake Pops ($4.99-$5.99)

Candy Apples

Pink Minnie Candy Apples are available now

With all of these candy shop treats and the two treats we highlighted from Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream the other day which one will you choose?
