There are only a few days left to enjoy the Lunar New Year eats and treats in Disney California Adventure park. Today we are featuring and reviewing the Korean Grilled Chicken and Mango Mousse from Paradise Garden Grill. Remember, the Lunar New Year celebration ends on February 9th.
Korean Grilled Chicken ($12.99)
The Korean Grilled Chicken costs $12.99 and is eligible for annual passholder discount and is also eligible for mobile ordering. Lastly, it is also available as a tasting size option if you want to use a Sip and Savor tab on the dish.
For me the Korean Grilled Chicken was a big letdown. The sweet chili glaze that it was supposed to have was either left off or barely detectable to my palate. Additionally, the chicken thighs were a bit dry. The kimchi was decent but gone after 3 bites. The best part, for me, was the Mickey shaped rice. sigh I really liked this last year. Not worth the $13 price tag though.
Mango Mousse ($4.79)
The mango mousse returns from last year and is solid. It is mango glazed passion fruit and mango compote with vanilla sponge cake as a base underneath. It’s small but tasty. It costs $4.79 (you can use a Sip and Savor tab on it) and is available for both annual passholder discount and mobile ordering.
